1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website www.thehealthstoreturkey.com ("the Website") and the services provided by The Health Store Turkey ("we", "us", "our"), a Turkish-registered medical tourism provider licensed by the Turkish Ministry of Health. Our UK offices are located at Melrose House, 183 Chorley New Rd, Bolton, BL1 4QZ and 24-26 Wilson Street, Glasgow, G1 1SS. By accessing or using our Website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Our Services

The Health Store Turkey facilitates medical tourism by connecting patients with accredited hospitals and surgeons in Turkey. We act as a coordinator and patient support service, we are not a hospital or medical provider.

All medical procedures are performed by independent, licensed surgeons at government-licensed, JCI-accredited hospitals in Turkey.

3. Medical Disclaimers

• The information on this Website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.
• All treatment decisions are made following a medical assessment by qualified surgeons.
• Results vary between individuals. We do not guarantee specific medical outcomes.
• You should inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or medications before your consultation.

4. Pricing

• All prices shown on the Website are indicative starting prices in GBP (£) and are subject to change.
• Final pricing will be confirmed in writing after your medical assessment and before any payment is taken.
• Packages include the items specified in your treatment plan. Additional services or extended stays may incur extra charges.
• Under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, all mandatory charges must be shown upfront. Our "from" prices include the procedure, hospital stay, hotel accommodation, VIP airport transfers, a personal translator, and 12 months of aftercare. Any additional costs (such as extended stays, companion accommodation, or additional procedures) will be clearly communicated and agreed with you in writing before any payment is taken.

5. Bookings and Payments

• A deposit may be required to secure your booking. Deposit amounts and payment terms will be confirmed during your consultation.
• Payment methods and schedules will be agreed before your travel date.
• For full cancellation and refund terms, see our Cancellation & Refund Policy. You also have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period, see Section 5a below.

5a. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your booking within 14 calendar days of receiving your booking confirmation, for any reason, without needing to give an explanation.

To exercise this right, contact us by email at info@thehealthstoreturkey.com or by WhatsApp at +44 7733 596821 with a clear statement of your decision to cancel.

If you cancel within this 14-day period, we will refund all payments received from you, minus any reasonable costs already incurred on your behalf (for example, non-refundable hospital booking fees that we have already paid). Any such deductions will be explained to you clearly.

Refunds are processed within 14 working days to your original payment method.

This right applies to all bookings made at a distance, online, by phone, by WhatsApp, or at one of our UK consultation events where a contract is not signed in person at the time of the event.

6. Travel and Insurance

• Patients are responsible for arranging their own flights and travel insurance.
• We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical treatment abroad.
• We are not liable for flight delays, cancellations, or other travel disruptions.

7. Aftercare

• All patients receive 12 months of follow-up support as part of their package.
• Aftercare includes remote check-ins, guidance, and access to our medical team.
• Any additional procedures or treatments required after the initial treatment period may be subject to additional charges.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of The Health Store Turkey or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Health Store Turkey shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Website or services. Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant service.

10. Privacy

Your use of this Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process your personal data.

11. Dispute Resolution

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, we encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve the issue directly. Please see our Complaints Procedure for details of how we handle complaints.

If we are unable to resolve a dispute informally, both parties agree to consider mediation through an accredited Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider before commencing court proceedings. This does not affect your statutory rights or your right to take legal action.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy, and any individual treatment agreement you sign, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Health Store Turkey regarding your use of our Website and services.
