What Is a Mons Lift with Liposuction?

A mons lift (also called a monsplasty or pubic lift) is a body contouring procedure that reduces the size and prominence of the mons pubis. When combined with liposuction, the procedure addresses both excess fat and loose skin in the area for a comprehensive result.

The mons pubis is the soft, rounded area above the pubic bone. It naturally contains a layer of fatty tissue, but this area can become enlarged or saggy due to:

During Your Stay in Turkey

Your VIP transfer takes you from the airport to your 5-star hotel. The following day, you attend the hospital for pre-procedure assessments and a face-to-face consultation with your surgeon. Your surgeon examines the area, discusses the planned approach, and confirms your treatment plan.

The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia and typically takes 1 to 2 hours. Liposuction is performed first to reduce the fatty tissue, followed by excision of excess skin and tightening of the remaining tissue. The incision is placed low, along the bikini line. You stay in hospital for 1 night.

After Your Procedure

You return to your hotel for recovery. Your surgeon sees you for a follow-up before you travel home to check your healing and provide aftercare instructions. A compression garment is worn to support the healing process.

Recovery and Aftercare

Recovery from a mons lift is relatively straightforward, though the intimate location means you need to be mindful of hygiene and avoid certain activities during healing.

Days 1-3: Swelling and bruising in the area are expected. Discomfort is managed with prescribed medication. Avoid sitting for long periods and wear loose, comfortable clothing.

Days 4-7: Swelling begins to settle. Walking is encouraged to promote circulation. Keep the area clean and dry as directed by your surgeon.

Weeks 1-2: Bruising fades. You may feel comfortable enough for desk-based work. Continue wearing your compression garment and avoid strenuous activity.

Weeks 2-4: The treated area continues to reduce in size as swelling resolves. Light exercise can resume gradually. Avoid activities that put direct pressure on the area.

Months 1-3: Your final contour emerges. The scar fades from pink to a thin, pale line and is concealed within the bikini line. Full exercise and all activities can resume.
