Labiaplasty is one of the fastest-growing cosmetic procedures, and for good reason. Enlarged or asymmetric labia minora (the inner lips) can cause genuine physical discomfort, irritation during exercise, pain during cycling or horse riding, discomfort in tight clothing, and self-consciousness during intimacy.

If your labia cause you physical or emotional discomfort, seeking treatment is a practical, health-conscious decision. Labiaplasty reduces and reshapes the labia minora to create a more comfortable, symmetrical appearance.

Your all-inclusive package from £1,300 covers the procedure at a government-licensed hospital, 2 nights in hospital, 2 nights in a 5-star hotel, VIP airport transfers, a personal translator, and 12 months of aftercare. In the UK, labiaplasty typically costs £3,000-£5,000.

What Is Labiaplasty?

Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure that reduces the size and reshapes the labia minora (the inner vaginal lips). The goal is to create a more comfortable and symmetrical appearance while preserving natural sensation and function.

Two main techniques are used:

Trim technique: The excess tissue along the edge of the labia is trimmed to reduce the length. This is the most common technique and creates a neat, even edge.

Wedge technique: A V-shaped wedge of tissue is removed from the thickest part of the labia, and the edges are sutured together. This technique preserves the natural edge of the labia and can look very natural.

Your surgeon will recommend the best technique based on your anatomy and desired outcome during your consultation. Both techniques produce excellent results in experienced hands.

The procedure is performed under local or general anaesthesia and takes approximately 1-1.5 hours. Dissolvable sutures are used, so there is no need for stitch removal.

Am I Suitable?

You may be a good candidate for labiaplasty if you:

  • Have labia minora that are enlarged, elongated, or asymmetric
  • Experience physical discomfort during exercise, cycling, or daily activities
  • Feel irritation from tight clothing or swimwear
  • Are self-conscious about the appearance of your labia
  • Are an adult in good general health

Labiaplasty is a personal decision. There is no "normal" size or shape for the labia, the procedure is about your comfort and confidence, not conforming to any standard.

What Happens During the Procedure?

Before your trip: Confidential video consultation to discuss your concerns and the best technique for your anatomy.

Day 1, Arrival: VIP airport transfer to your hotel.

Day 2, Procedure day: The procedure takes approximately 1-1.5 hours under local or general anaesthesia.

Days 2-3, Hospital stay: Recovery with cold compresses and pain management.

Day 4, Hotel recovery: Patient coordinator check-in. Rest and light walking.

Day 5, Departure: Final check-up and VIP airport transfer.

Months 1-12: Aftercare support.

Recovery & Aftercare

Labiaplasty recovery is straightforward but requires care with hygiene and activity.

Days 1-5: Moderate swelling and tenderness. Over-the-counter pain relief and ice packs. Wear loose, breathable underwear. Avoid tight clothing.

Weeks 1-2: Swelling reduces significantly. Light daily activities are fine. Avoid exercise, swimming, and baths (showers only).

Weeks 2-4: Most patients feel comfortable returning to normal activities. Continue to avoid cycling, horse riding, and strenuous exercise.

Week 4-6: Intimate activity can resume (your surgeon will confirm). Sutures have dissolved.

Months 2-3: Final results are visible. Any residual swelling resolves. Scars are minimal and hidden within the natural contours.

Risks & Considerations

Potential risks include infection, bleeding, asymmetry, over-correction (removing too much tissue), under-correction, changes in sensation, and wound healing issues.

In experienced hands, complications are uncommon. Your surgeon carefully plans the amount of tissue to remove to ensure a comfortable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing result.

All procedures are performed in government-licensed hospitals with 12 months of aftercare.

Frequently Asked Questions

The techniques used are designed to preserve nerve supply and sensation. Most patients retain normal sensation. Some experience temporary increased sensitivity or mild numbness during healing, which typically resolves within weeks.

Scars are placed along the natural contour of the labia and are very difficult to see once fully healed. Dissolvable sutures are used, and the tissue in this area heals exceptionally well with minimal visible scarring.

Most patients describe the discomfort as mild to moderate, similar to soreness rather than sharp pain. Over-the-counter pain relief and ice packs are usually sufficient. The most common complaint is tenderness rather than pain.

No. Labiaplasty only involves the external labia minora and does not affect the vaginal canal, uterus, or reproductive function. It has no impact on fertility or the ability to give birth.

Yes. Combining both procedures addresses internal and external concerns in one session with one recovery period. We offer a combined package at a reduced all-inclusive price.
