TLDR: Sceptic (me) took the plunge. Got 5 star service from the hospital and THST. Partner with me was impressed. Sceptical friends and family impressed and about to use THST... read more now. They follow through on promises. Wish I'd done this sooner. I cannot overstate how much THST and the hospital went above and beyond my expectation. From the consultation process and the resources they provided (while also doing my own research elsewhere, of course) to the procedure and aftercare now. I was worried about some similarities between the responses I got from vsg providers here and THST. But there was nothing of the sort; no disheartening waitlists or unaffordable quotes. I had to research them so thoroughly because I am so sceptical of such five star treatment being offered at that price. However I am glad I took the plunge. My partner - who was provided a bed and vegan meals in my private room in the hospital - even said the pre-op and post-op care was on par with high quality private care in the UK. The shining star in the service though is THST staff. They sounds so sincere about helping you and then follow through. 24/7 attention by your room is exactly that. Plus they care that you are doing well emotionally and physically. I even got a bit teary saying goodbye as Ceyda was the first to welcome me and there to check me out at the end. My experience was so amazing that it's convinced people around me to take the plunge. I wish I had know this was an option sooner. This is not the easy way out but the tool they gave me is already working to help me lose this excess weight. Plus any questions I have, I can ask my own aftercare team on our private WhatsApp group 24/7!

He arranged everything for me including; transfers, hospital and hotel stay and he even helped me with my flights. He was always on hand for anything I needed, and was well versed in my procedure. My surgery was confirmed and 3 days before I flew out, a WhatsApp group was created with all of the staff that would help me along my journey. They were all so polite and eager to help. When we arrived, our driver was waiting for us, he was also a lovely man. Everything was 5* - the hospital room looked more like a high end hotel, even the transport bus was luxury. As soon as we got to the hospital we were shown to our room and a lot of tests were done - they were very efficient. I saw more specialist doctors than I have ever seen in the U.K. and only after being cleared by every single specialist, was the surgery also cleared. My Surgeon Dr Hüseyin was incredible, he gave me a lot of confidence as he is so confident in his own work. My aftercare was incredible, the team couldn’t do enough to help me and make me feel comfortable - anything I asked for they provided. I was checked on regularly and given medication regularly. When I was discharged we were taken to our hotel, which was also beautiful and again the staff went above and beyond to assist us. Overall, all I can say is it was worth every penny, and it was a fraction of the cost in the U.K., yet I received a better service. I am beyond grateful for such an incredible team, surgeon and experience. Thank you so much to all of you. The Health store is the only place I would ever recommend to anyone for surgery. If you are thinking of booking with them, go ahead, you won’t regret it

Fantastic service from start to finish. I had lens replacement surgery in both eyes. I enquired about the treatment and from that first day, the communication was outstanding. When I arrived in Izmir the driver was waiting to take me to the hotel, the day after arriving I met Ceyda who assisted me and communicated for me, she was amazing. I was taken to a clinic for a check up in the morning and in the afternoon, I had both eyes done which took about 1hr 30 minutes. No pain, able to see straight after with a bit of blurriness. Ceyda got everything for me from the pharmacy and brought it to the hotel. The 2nd day I went for another check up in the morning and everything was great. The Health Store Turkey are fantastic and would recommend them to anyone considering surgery of any kind. A big thank you to Salih who was my main point of contact when booking the surgery. I went with my daughter to support her with a procedure at the hospital. Whilst I was there I thought there was an opportunity to get my teeth looked at... read more as the week before my bridge had broken and exposed metal which looked awful. I sent some pictures to their dental department who arrange an appointment to see me the next day. We discussed options and I had to say I felt very nervous whether the treatment could be completed within 24 hours as I would be due to be leaving the day after that. The whole team were incredible and pulled out all the stops to get a job which usually takes 4 days take 24 hours. I had the smile I had only ever dreamed of and will be forever grateful for what they did for me. The transfers to and from were always on time and took the stress out of everything. I am a very lucky woman. I have a family who adore me and a career I love and yet I hated myself and felt ashamed every single day for... read more the last 20 years. I was previously the manager of a health club and super fit until I dislocated my knee and had surgery that did not work. I struggled walking and overnight went from super fit to zero mobility. Within a year I put 5st on. I stopped going out, stopped eating in restaurants, refused all invitations, even stopped food shopping as I felt I'd be judged by what was in my trolley, good or bad. I saw a post on Facebook from an old friend who had been to The Health Store Turkey and she looked amazing. I made contact and she passed me to Salih, a co-ordinator for THST. This guy was AMAZING! We never had a sales talk, instead he listened to every concern I had, answered every question and encouraged me to do my own research. So I booked for Oct 22 and WOW!! The hospital was like a 5 star hotel and I was treated like royalty. I received a full MOT, bloods, xrays, scans, even a counselling service. My husband was allowed to sleep in the same room the whole time. I met everyone involved in my surgery in advance and always with a translator so I knew exactly what was going on. Dr Huysein who is a colon cancer specialist instantly put me at ease, he was more than happy to answer any question, he makes you feel like you're talking to a mate and not an exceptional surgeon. Speaking with him confirmed I'd made the right decision. I had the op and for the next 2 days in hospital I was waited on hand and foot. My checks were done every 2 hours and I honestly was never more than 10 feet away from a nurse the whole time. Dr Huysein checked on me everyday and even on discharge day, offered me the opportunity to stay another night (no cost to me) if I didn't feel ready to go. I was transferred to a stunning hotel, (Kaya Izmir) with bed and breakfast (for hubby) all included in the price and again all transfers included. I met with an amazing dietitian who joined the rest of my care team on a WhatsApp group for the next YEAR. I am 10 days post op and already I feel like I have my life back. This operation made me realise I was just waiting to die which is heartbreaking. There are no words to describe what Dr Huysein, Salih and the rest of THST team have done for me. I have a second chance and I will not waste one minute. A mere thank you will never be enough. To anyone considering bariatric surgery, do your research, check this company on trust pilot and other review platforms, don't take my word for it, see for yourself. Personally, I would do it again in a heartbeat. This amazing company gave me my life back.

The medical staff are beyond anything ever encountered in the UK, the tests carried out prior to surgery were so thorough and the surgeon and nurses were so good at what they do. I was so calm going for surgery and other than the after effects of the anaesthetic for a couple of hours where I felt nauseous I have felt amazing the last 6 weeks and the follow up care has also been great.
