The method to be used will be determined by the surgeon to suit the patient’s individual characteristics. In the hair, eyebrow or beard, the root and hair structures are very similar, so they are transferable from one area to another. The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic and the number of roots transplanted varies from patient to patient.

Before and After the Procedure

For patients using blood thinner, these should be paused a few weeks before the procedure. Necessary cleaning and hygiene should be applied in the area where the transplantation will be performed.

After the procedure is performed, the area where the application is made should be protected. It should not be exposed to water for a period determined by the doctor. Heavy contact and abrasive movements should be avoided for a period advised by the doctor.
