Crowns are safely attached to the surface of the tooth. A one-millimetre layer is removed from the outer surface of the tooth and measurements are made for the replacement crowns. Crowns are prepared, tested and attached to the tooth. Crowns have a very substantial effect on the appearance and health of the teeth. The process usually requires several sessions. Gaps between teeth, visible damage and caries or cavities are eliminated. Crowns also provide long-term improvement in the colour of the teeth.
